My Ask to Mountains

This shot was taken from Bedni Bugyal, Himalaysn Alipne Meadow,
elevated at a height of 3354 Meters in the Chamoli district of
Uttarakhand State of India. It falls on the way to Roopkund near Wan village.
Magnificent views of Mt. Trishul (elevation of 7120 Meters) can be shot
from Bedni Top.
Let me be one like you
Oh mighty mountains
Is that a big ask to make ?

Unweathered by the endless storms,
the rainy splash and the lightening flash
You stood tall and strong against all odds
Let me be one like you
Oh mighty mountains
Is that a big ask to make ?

Pink, blue, orange and red,
the sky has endless hues
But its only when a mountain is added
Completes the views
Let me be one like you
Oh mighty mountains
Is that a big ask to make ?

Your love for river has been evident
But it cuts through your heart
And you let her leave you
Only to realize that you have her more
When you let her flow
Exactly the way a relationship should work
Let me be one like you
Oh mighty mountains
Is that a big ask to make ?

  1. Standing tall and high
Watching over you from the sky
Giving birth and not letting them dry
I guess it is a big ask to make.
